About the Position
Flooring Installation Manager

This position requires a knowledgeable individual to interact with customers, subcontractors, installers, warehouse manager, and salespeople to assist them with the most important aspect of our business, the installation of our products into our customer's homes and businesses. Our objective is to always provide superior customer service, satisfaction, and follow-up.

Therefore, the ideal candidate must be willing to ensure the installation of our products exceeds our customer's dreams. In order to be successful the candidate must be a self-starter, personally well organized, and able communicator with all types of people. The successful candidate must also be willing to undergo our extensive product and installation training.

Although not an all inclusive list, the following are some of duties and expectations for this position:

Effectively schedule installation crews.
Supervise and assist in the staging of installation materials and products for crews.
Supervise the estimator
Provide outstanding customer service.
Using our computer based systems to schedule and track the installation of jobs.
Following up in a timely and professional manner with service issues arising from the installation process.
Keeping up-to-date on the wide selection of floors we have to offer along with the installation requirements for each.
Building client relationships.
Networking regularly and working effectively with other store employees.

Qualifications
The skills and abilities we're seeking include:

Management and flooring experience is required
A passion for, or experience with, flooring installation
Bilingual in English and Spanish is desirable
Must have open and flexible work availability.
Professionalism, to include dependability, accountability, and punctuality.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Self-motivated and internally driven to excel in your position and career.
Time management skills for juggling multiple (and sometimes competing) deadlines and deliverables.
Must have access to reliable transportation in order to get to work, and to visit job sites if needed.
Must have strong knowledge Microsoft Office programs and be willing to learn our operating system.
Must be willing and able to attend some off site training.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
