Brown and Caldwell is seeking a motivated, achievement-oriented individual who can help us fulfill our commitment to deliver client success on each and every project we undertake. This position will provide project engineering, project management, and client service interaction on a variety of stormwater, environmental site design, and stream restoration projects. Work will include planning, designing, regulatory compliance and permitting on current and future projects in Maryland, Virginia and across the Mid-Atlantic Area. Job Expectations: -Provide direction to engineering project teams and oversight of the work of staff and subconsultants -Assist with Engineering Management for current projects -Manage, lead and/or execute stormwater, low impact development and stream restoration design projects -Provide MS4 and other regulatory compliance, permit support and coordination with multiple agencies -Coordinate all aspects of stormwater projects including landscaping, natural resources, civil design, utilities and community interaction -Stormwater planning, condition assessment, detailed design and construction administration -Preparation of engineering reports, technical memorandums and specifications -Review shop drawings -Coordination and leadership of project team members and task leaders Desired Skills and
Experience: -Bachelor s degree in water resources, civil or environmental engineering -Experience with planning and designing stormwater BMP, low impact development, and impervious surface retrofit projects -Experience planning and designing stream restoration projects -Watershed assessment and restoration planning -Frequent work in satellite office location (Rockville, MD) -5-8 years of related experience -PE in Maryland or comparable qualifications -Strong verbal communication skills -Ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment -Must be able to successfully manage and deliver on multiple tasks with competing prioritiesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
