We have an exciting opportunity for a Client Service/Project Manager with a demonstrated background in business development, client relations, project delivery and a history of managing successful teams of professionals to join our Team. The person in this role will be a key leadership team member in further growing our stormwater and water resources business sector in Maryland and Northern Virginia. In this capacity, the person will have responsibilities that include sales, client development, client relationship management, contract review, and client team coordination. Candidates must have a proven track record of obtaining and sustaining solid client relationships and successful sales performance with Maryland and Northern Virginia municipal or private sector stormwater and water resources clients. Job Expectations: ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Develop working relationships with individuals outside the organization to identify new business opportunities. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Build client relationships, define new and existing project requirements while promoting and integrating companywide initiatives and values. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Develop working relationships with peers and individuals within the organization. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Participate in company strategic and business planning activities ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Lead the preparation of key proposals and interviews. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Focus on investment decisions, using capital and resources to the highest advantage. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Promote and support technical systems and improvements within the company. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Leverage across the company for marketing, project delivery, formulation of project teams and other support systems. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Investigate client or public issues, determine nature and extent of problem, and implement response measures. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Recruit, manage and coach/develop staff ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Provide technical support on a variety of stormwater and water resources management and design projects. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Lead project planning efforts from procurement and negotiation through execution and closeout, while continuing to monitor project status and control execution to achieve project goals. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Conduct technical evaluations to support project planning and design. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Lead and direct client communication. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Successfully oversee the delivery of projects on time and on budget, while meeting quality requirements. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Utilize internal project management tools and resources. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Provide marketing and technical direction to project managers and staff during the procurement and execution of key projects. Desired Skills & Experience: ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Current working relationships with Maryland and Northern Virginia MS4s is required. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ A minimum of 15 years experience, most of which must be in a management role or business development role in a consulting or related industry. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Expertise in the practical application of engineering principles and technology. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Proven staff management and team leadership experience. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Must have a proven record of developing new clients and client relationships. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Must have a proven record of working and maintaining relationships with existing clients and projects with ability to deliver those projects successfully, profitably, and to the client's satisfaction. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Ability to discern new markets and to develop business in those areas. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Ability to connect with municipal and private sector decision makers in surrounding markets. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, and coordination of people and resources. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Knowledge of principles and processes for providing excellent client service. This includes client profiling, needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of client satisfaction. ΓΆΒ ΒΆ BS degree in Engineering or related field is required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
