Job Description
Eaton Corporation in Beltsville, MD has an opening for a Pricing Analyst. This person will be responsible for quotations for renewal business and renewal of long term pricing agreements with customers; review product margin by identifying pricing opportunities and maximizing profit through cost and competition analysis, and market factors; review, calculate, negotiate, and implement renewal Long Term Agreements for two product lines - Pneumatic and Static Seals; work collectively and cooperatively with Marketing (Product Line Managers), Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing on potential new applications and/or products and is responsible for ensuring timely completion of customer pricing proposals. The ideal candidate will possess the following
Qualifications:
Essential Functions:
Collect and analyze data to develop customer-specific pricing, using software tools provided (Mfg-Pro, Customer 360, Microsoft Excel, etc.)
Support Customer Service, Product Management, and the Sales Organization in the development of Long Term Agreements and price lists.
Prepare proposal sign-offs for management review and prepare negotiation objectives for management review.
Coordinates data from all inputs (Supply Chain, Operations, etc.) in order to generate a quote for Division products, to customers.
Ability to work closely with customers to understand all facets of their quote/LTA requirements.
Ability to confidently negotiate with customers on pricing.
Proactively lead strategic pricing initiatives to incorporate value pricing and identify strategic customers/parts/product lines that require pricing adjustments to achieve market value or increase win rates.
Maintain composure during peak times of customer requests and have a positive professional attitude.
Participate on teams and continuous improvement activities.
Backup for teammate's customers in their absence.
Work to develop an understanding of the culture of the company as it relates to continuous improvement, problem solving, and the Eaton Business System (EBS).

Qualifications:
Bachelor''s degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 1 year work experience in customer service, sales, pricing, finance or an analytical role.
This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ''Green Card Holder''), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate Beltsville area (50 miles) will be considered for this position.
Position Criteria:
Basic understanding of cost accounting, modern pricing methods, value and market pricing
Advanced skillset in Microsoft Excel as well as proficiency with all MS Office programs and web maintenance systems
Database experience is a plus
MRP functionality expertise
Strong analytical abilities
Attention to detail
Ability to communicate with different levels within the organization
Sense of urgency and commitment to meet team's goals and customer's expectations
Excellent interpersonal and teaming skills
Ability to lead cross-functionally in a matrix organization
